Just curious if you know of any other way to get my hands on this coupon insert… We just moved into our neighborhood and don’t get the local paper yet. Plus, it only comes out once a month – so I’m scared we will keep missing these. Any tips??

Hi Amanda, if you can, I would head to your local newspaper office and ask if they have any coupon inserts. Or you could ask friends and family if they’d mind giving theirs to you! I hope that helps!

Ashton, a Brandsaver insert just came out at the beginning of the month and I think they come out every quarter. So perhaps the beginning of July? I’ll make sure I let everyone now when to look out for it!

PG Brandsaver also has a website you can order coupons from and they send them in the mail for you. They also on occasion offer free mini product samples. These are great for travel. It also gives you an opportunity to try something new without having to purchase a large bottle of something like shampoo you don’t like.

I live in Toronto, and when I went to buy the Toronto Star newspaper today (the Saturday Star), I looked carefully for the Redplum coupon insert. Both your website and another Canadian mom’s site had the schedule saying the coupon insert would be in that paper. No luck! So I decided not to buy the paper.
Then I was lucky enough to be on a street corner where someone from the Toronto Star was handing out free copies of the Star! I got one, in a plastic bag with “Toronto Star” on it, but there still aren’t any coupon inserts! Is it possible the May 7 date is incorrect?

I live in Ottawa and checked both the Ottawa Sun and the Ottawa Citizen on Saturday they weren’t in either paper. I am also wondering if the May 7th date is incorrect.

Hi Kirsty and Anne. I have found that with my local newspaper, the dates I have listed above, are a general time frame. I found the most recent Redplum coupon in my Friday, May 6 newspaper. Sometimes they’re in the Sunday paper and other times I have found them in the Wednesday paper! So, maybe check the newspapers surrounding the dates I have listed above, or contact your local newspapers.

I’m bummed that my SmartSource coupons weren’t in my local paper today (KV Style…we get an edition devoted to local flyers on Thursdays).
Guess I’ll have to wait until Saturday to see if they’re in my mother-in-laws paper.
Who knew I’d get so addicted to coupons in just a few weeks! LOL

The Redplum insert came in our free flyers the Thursday before (the 5th), since we don’t get the paper. Wonder if the Smart Source will too, or if it’s ONLY in the Leader Post. (I’m in Regina)

The Sherwood Park News doesn’t put coupon inserts in their paper. They said that flyer force delivers them. Spoke with flyer force and they said they do not deliver the coupon inserts – they only deliver flyers from Sobeys, Walmart, London Drugs, etc.
The Edmonton Journal *at least in Sher Pk* didn’t have the red plum last weekend but the Edmonton Sun did on Sunday. If you live in the area the best bet is the Sunday edition of the Edmonton Sun (so don’t waste money buying the Edmonton Journal).

Today the delivery person threw out her bundle of Red Plum coupons which were suppose to be delivered with the flyers…Ottawa…question….is the P&G from last week only in the newspaper or are they delivered door to door…and not sure what smart source is but I ‘m hoping it;s more coupons…..I have over 100 redplums with me now…not sure if I should go look in the recycle bin to see if there is more, or any P&G …Newbie here, so this redplum is a huge treasure…. need answeers on the P&G brandsaver…last weekend was my very first edition of picking it up in the paper, but I’ve read that some people had them delivered in flyers.

Thanks so much for this fantastic list! I too have the coupon bug…and am a frustrated Montreal couponer. I just spoike to the Inserts Co-ordinator of The Gazette, and he admitted that some Gazettes get them, and some don’t, depending on spoilage, shortage, etc. etc. However, this list will alert me. Hi Keely, although I’m not entirely sure about the Redplum inserts (I don’t live in the Vancouver area) you should be able to find them in the Vancouver Sun and The Province. But again, I’m not sure if they come with Redplum in particular.

We get to Smart Source coupons in the Owen Sound SunTimes but I’ve never seen a Redplum insert. Are they in Ontario? Sounds like they might have better coupon deals.

Second, I live in Ottawa, ON, and don’t subscribe to any newspapers, but I just got the Red Plum in our free flyers, and I know that I’ve received SmartSource before as well, just not this time.
What I was wondering is if P&G Brandsaver inserts were available in Ontario as well as out West? I’ve never seen them here, so I just thought I would ask. The site only allows you to order coupons once every 1 or 2 months.

Hi Stephanie, Yes there are P&G inserts in Ontario and out west. Although, they only come out quarterly (or so). The most recent one was out in June.

Thank you sooooooo much for the dates. I have just started couponing and it is a HUGE help! Since I don’t read the newspaper regularly (I only get it for the coupon books on weekends that they’re out) I have been sending my husband to the store to check to see if there are coupons before buying the newspaper. I have him go early as the newspaper gets bought up early. It saves him having to run out to do this for me. Thanks a Bunch!!:)

Hi Robi, the coupons will be available around the date listed. We don’t get a Saturday paper so most often I find the coupons in our Sunday (sometime Friday paper). Hope that helps!
