Me and my husband went to one of these with a free pass we sure wish we didn’t. They were extremely pushy, wishy washy, gave us the run around when we asked specific questions. We said we would like to think about for a day and they told us that if we did not take the offer right then if was not available to us and that we would be banned from other But Direct Showrooms. As this point the guy was very very rude and wouldn’t even show us out the door. Please think twice about going there or about joining them please. i wish I was warned and saved my time.

Ordered “Li’l Angels” baby furniture from the Pickering, Ontario location eight weeks ago. Received furniture 3 weeks ago – but was
defective (slats were badly warped – not safe, dresser damaged). Returned furniture and received second delivery today – same defects.
Now requesting for refund so we can purchase a crib elsewhere as baby is due any time now, and can’t afford
to wait for DirectBuy to get this right. DirectBuy is not cooperating, quoting how they do business with their suppliers.
The fact is, you pay a premium membership for (supposedly) premium goods and service – we are getting neither.
I can’t think of another retailer or manufacturer that would deny a refund here.
Still hoping someone with authority (at DirectBuy and/or “Li’l Angel”) will get involved and grant the refund in the next couple days.
I’ll report back in a few days – hopefully with praise, but with names and url’s of who to keep clear of if the refund is denied.
