Apples sauce turned out great! I was wondering what to do with old apples no one wanted to eat! Yummy!

99c a lb is a good price for Safeway. I’m fortunate enough to have a fruit and veg store within walking distance where 99c would be above average for local apples. The imported first quality Gala apples from NZ might go for 99-1.29/lb but i look for something local in the 69c – 89c range

In Alberta 99 cents is quite good. I was looking for apple recipes, I am having company tomorrow and wanted to make a dessert with the apples I had bought.
