I have a basket full of freebies. Shampoo, conditioner, lotions, you name it, I’ve probably got it! But, being someone who hates to have excess stuff around, I started wondering about what I could do with all these samples. So…
I’m wondering: What do you do with all your freebies?
Have you got something you’ve been wondering about that I could feature in a future I’m Wondering post? Submit your question to me here!
I give mine to the food bank, along with any coupons I receive that I don’t use. Both are very much welcomed.
If there is something I actually want to try – it goes in my travel kit – the rest are donated to a street outreach for youth who appreciate these donations. I also solicit these types of donations from my co-workers – right after Christmas – yields some nice products for the shelter.
They would likely be welcomed at a women’s shelter. A little pampering is good for one’s self esterm
I use Ziploc bags and put sample sized toiletries such as soaps, shampoos, toothpastes, etc. in each baggie. I keep these baggies in the car so when I see a homeless person, I ask if they’d like one. I haven’t been turned down yet. 🙂
Some I keep for when we travel, or for the spare bathroom in case we ever get company, the rest I donate to an organization that distributes food, clothing, household items, toiletries, etc. to those in need.
I donate mine to our Youth Emergency Shelter along with any deals on personal items I pick up during the year.
I donate them to a local counselling center that gives them out to people who could use them 🙂
