While we were on one of our daily walks, I had an idea. I’m not sure if it’s a brilliant one or not (you can decide) but I got excited over the idea anyway!
I’d like to compile a ton of recipes, money saving tips, DIY projects, holiday ideas or basically anything frugal related and put them all into an ebook format.
But, here’s the catch, I’d like the ebook to be made up of all your tips & tricks!
I think it would be so neat to have an ebook that is made up of all the brilliant ideas of Simply Frugal readers! I’m visualizing this ebook to be an amazing source of inspiration for those that may need some inspiration or a handy go-to guide for all things frugal.
How can you be a part of this?
Simply send us your recipes, money saving tips, DIY projects, organizing tips, holiday ideas…whatever you think would be a great addition to the ebook. Email us here with “Simply frugal ebook” in the subject line.
We’d like to set a deadline of October 15, 2012 to have all your submissions in.
In the ebook, we’ll be including your first name and last name initial so you get the credit for your tip.

I really like this idea. I have lots of tips and ideas, and it makes sense to me to include them all as one submission then submitting them all separately. I don’t mind them going into an ebook in your name because you put so much work into this blog. Also, I write two other blogs but don’t have the time or the interest to create a 3rd blog about frugal living! But I’d love to share my tips. So I’d love to share my ideas. I

I think it’s a wonderful idea and if people don’t want to have their ideas in another person’s name they don’t have to submit anything right
I would love to see special sections for frugal holiday tips like Thanksgivng, Halloween or Christmas, ect too

I think I’d be more inspired to submit my ideas if some of the other submissions were public. A post may spark a memory of something I’ve done before or want to try. I’d think posting something every so often will help.
I’d like to see tasty & nutritious meal planning for 2. I like to prepare food and freeze portions but don’t want a freezer full of things we’ve grown tired of. I like budget saving ideas like keeping the left over pieces of veggies frozen, then once you have chicken or turkey, creating your own stock with the left over veggies & bones. Freeze stock in small portions for creating soups or adding to recipes.

Yay! There are sooo many links that I have come across. It would be great to have them rounded up in one free ebook. I think this ebook has the potential to become absolutely monumental!

I think this is a fantastic idea. Having everything in one ebook, but also continually updating would be good. It would be one book of reference I would be checking out lots. You have some great ideas to master this big project!
