In case you haven’t heard, there’s a recall on certain Kellogg’s Mini Wheats cereal.  Specifically the Brown Sugar and Original Frosted.

    Yes, I have been affected. I e-mailed Kellogs asking them to send me a coupon to replace the 1.3 kg box we bought. They have not responded as of yet.

    Thanks for letting us know about the recall! I had two boxes, one Frosted and one Brown Sugar, both of which had gas cards on the back. I almost threw out the boxes when I cut out the cards- lesson learned.

    I’m guessing it will be hard to return the cereal to the store since the back is hacked off the boxes ;)

    Oh lovely, I’ve long plowed through 3 boxes of the brown sugar that were likely part of that :(

    Kelloggs e-mailed me and said they would send FPCs to replace the recalled boxes, but I need to track down my receipts because they need the purchase date as well as the location I bought them at, UPC, expiry date etc. I recommend e-mailing them if you still have the recalled boxes and see what they say.
