Dishing the Deal – Southwestern Stuffed Peppers

This week, Real Canadian Superstore (West) has bags of peppers on sale for  $1.98.  (either a bag of four red peppers or 6 multicoloured)

I thought it would be a fun idea to feature this sale along with a recipe!

I’ve had the Southwestern Stuffed Peppers recipe (pictured above) pinned on Pinterest forever and I thought that would be a great meal to use up the peppers!  You could swap out the ground turkey for ground beef to make it a bit more cost effective.

This week both Walmart and Real Canadian Superstore have broccoli on sale.  Walmart is selling it for $1.00 per bunch and Superstore is selling broccoli crowns for $0.96 a pound.  (Keep in mind that these are the prices I’ve found in my BC flyers)
