I buy many things in bulk even though are only two of us. I use freezer bags and and double wrap all meat products after they are sorted into dinner size portions for us. That was something my mom taught me before vacuum sealers were even invented.
Anything I can buy using coupons and sales that come in a dollar or under goes to the food bank up to $5.00 per week. That was another thing my mom taught me. Pay it forward.
I also have a veggie and herb garden to help save money.
