I really don’t like the smell of vinegar, can you smell it in the dry clothes?

Do these homemade dryer sheets work for static cling? I can’t stand using dryer sheets because the smell is to strong, even the scent free ones choke me up! Once they are in my dryer it’s not bad, but I have to keep the box in a plastic bag just to walk into my laundry room.
