					<description><![CDATA[I sew bags for wrapping Christmas gifts in.  I buy Christmas fabric on sale (January is very good for that) and can get a fair number of bags from a metre of fabric, depending of course on the size I make.

Mine are all simple. - I sew one seam, hem the top.  I fold ribbon in half to create the tie and place it 3 or so inches down in the side seam.  Sew side and bottom.  Probably takes as much time as wrapping a gift with paper.

These bags get used year after year and then is when you really save time.  No tape needed!!!   

These become memory bags too.  I have bags my mother made.  I&#039;ve started putting the date (2010) on the inside of bags so that my grandchildren and maybe great grandchildren will have something to talk about when they get the bags out of storage each year.  :D
