Bran Muffins
Ingredients

all-purpose flour

wheat bran

baking powder

tsp
baking soda

salt

brown sugar

chocolate chips
or raisins, dried cranberries

cup
buttermilk or sour milk
1/3
cooking oil
3
Tbsp
molasses
1
egg
1/2
tsp
vanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients, mix.
Add remaining ingredients, beat with a spoon until just mixed.
Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 - 25 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Recipe Notes
To make sour milk, add milk to 1 Tbsp vinegar to measure 1 cup.
