Stuff used grocery bags in them. Handy for taking in the car, storing in bathrooms-easy access to 1 when emptying garbage cans, taking out in the garden for various uses like splitting up plants to give plants to friends.
My kids sometimes put them on their feet and pretend they’re robots. I also stuff excess plastic bags in them if I can hide them in time…
Honestly, I save them and use them as car garbage containers. I can stuff all the kids tissues and wipes from gross fingers/faces etc. They don’t take long to stuff completely full and as long as there is not plastics in them (wipes and food peels usually) they end up in compost.
Not that it will save you from recycling most of your tissue boxes but I use one for waxed paper pieces. I reuse wax paper (except when it was used with raw meat) pieces from freezing cookies or pizza dough, etc for covering food in the microwave so I have a tissue box that I tuck them in to.
