I figured out a new system that may work better for me when it comes to menu planning. Plan the menu on Saturday! That’s what I did this weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed not having to think about it at all Sunday night. (or in my case lately, Monday mornings!) Next weekend I may try planning to two weeks to have an even easier time!
This week’s menu is full of more simple meals. I’m starting back to work at the golf course on Tuesday and I’m generally tired out of my mind for the first couple of weeks I’m back, and don’t want to mess with “fancy” meals! 🙂 Here goes:
Monday: Sweet & Sour Meatballs, brown rice, steamed veggies (and possibly roasted cauliflower with some spices)
Tuesday: Chicken and Broccoli Pie, carrot sticks
Wednesday: Homemade Macaroni & Cheese, Salad
Thursday: Pepperoni Pesto Pizzas, salad
Friday: Out to eat
I think I can manage that! To see what other families are eating this week, visit I’m an Organizing Junkie!
What are you having for dinner this week?

Thanks for your diligence! I used to be a big menu planner – a month at a time- but stopped doing that when my baby was born. Now that he’s 2, I’m starting to plan again. I found a month in advance was too much because you can’t plan on what’s on sale, now that I’m doing it weekly (thanks to your inspiration) I can look at the flyers and save money on our menus. Keep it up! Loving the posts!
