This slow cooker sesame chicken is one of our all time favorite meals. It’s simple to put together and delicious served with rice and steamed veggies!

Slow Cooker Sesame Chicken
Ingredients
- 3 lbs Chicken Thighs or Chicken Breasts
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Cooking Sherry
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
- 2 Tbsp Ketchup
- 2 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- Place the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker
- Combine the rest of the ingredients in a bowl. Mix well.
- Pour over chicken.
- Cover the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours or on high for 3 - 4 hours.

can you substitute the cooking sherry for something else?
I quite often don’t even use it at all. I’m not sure if there’s a substitute that would work though.
