A friend of mine was asking for our empty 4 litre milk jugs so she could start some seedlings for her garden this year. I figured there had to be a website out there describing exactly what she had in mind. Sure enough, there were a couple I came across!
So for all you gardening enthusiasts, here’s how you can sow your garden seeds using empty milk jugs. And here’s another tutorial.

I love this project! Rather than making a typical (but super cool) cape, why not take it to the next level with a homemade jet pack!

I thought this was a clever idea! Turn a dish drainer into a file organizer for your desk! It will even hold all your pens and pencils!

Last year for Christmas, I received one of the most meaningful gifts from my aunt, a recipe box full of my Grandma’s recipes. (Gramma as we called her.) Last summer, she passed away and my cousins and I really wanted her recipes as a reminder of her.
Come Christmas day, I opened my present from my aunt and low and behold, it was a nice box full of my Grandma’s hand written recipes!
My aunt had divided the original recipes between me and my cousins, then photocopied the rest so we each had my Grandma’s entire recipe collection in her own handwriting! (I got her original recipe for pickles!! 🙂 ) I’m not hesitant in the least to say that this would make a great Christmas gift!
