So, are you all getting into the Christmas spirit yet? I’ve decorated our home but the weather has been uncharacteristically cold and unsnowy for this time of the year. Snow just makes Christmas, in my opinion!
I think we did pretty well last week at cleaning out our freezer. Most of the meals or leftovers I froze have been eaten up. I even found a cherry pie I baked as a treat one night! Plenty of room for some Holiday baking now!
I guess this week, I’m actually going to make meals from scratch. At least I enjoy cooking…most of the time! Here’s what I’m thinking for this week:
Monday: Sesame chicken, rice, broccoli and carrots
Tuesday: Dinner Party out!!
Wednesday: Parmesan Chicken & Broccoli Pasta, using leftover sesame chicken
Thursday: Shepherd’s Pie
Friday: BBQ Pork Chops, Roasted Potatoes and Carrots, Garlic Cheese Buns
This week’s meals are bit more time consuming, but I’m sure my husband will really appreciate it! After all, I haven’t made anything that isn’t from the freezer in a while! If you need a bit more inspiration for your menus check out the links at I’m an Organizing Junkie!

Too funny! We are having BBQ Pork Chops at our house this week, too! Although my recipe is a tad different… http://3boysandadog.com/2009/12/menu-plan-monday-december-7th-through-11th/
Your menu sounds delicious.
I haven't had a shepherd's pie in like forever! I wish I had the time to cook like your menu. But my nights coming home are in a frantic rush to get a meal on the table. Oh, the funs of a long commute.
Great menu. Going to have to try the shepherd's pie.
Shepherd's pie sounds delightful. My brother visited Ireland with his Irish-born friends last year and came home with the ability to make a mean Shepherd's pie.
